On Friday, May 6, 2011, MBNA held their eighth annual Black Ice Tournament in support of the Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa. 160 players, consisting of 20 teams battled it out on the MBNA parking lot in a friendly game of ball hockey, raising $5,500! These funds will go a long way in helping us to continue our commitment to child welfare in Ottawa.
In addition to the ball hockey tournament, a BBQ took place on game day as well as an auction in the MBNA office prior to the event.
The Customer Assistance Team at MBNA headed up the event and worked extremely hard raising funds, all while keeping on top of their day-to-day job. Their dedication to children in the Ottawa community is truly amazing.
We thank MBNA, the event committee, and all volunteers who worked together to make this event such a great success!
