Trivia Titans put their brains to the test to support children and youth in our community
On Friday, November 9, 2012, the Children’s Aid Foundation of Ottawa held their 18th annual World Trivia Night event, presented by Scotiabank.
Over 160 teams of 10 gathered at the Ernst & Young Centre, the event’s new location, ready to battle it out to be the 2012 Trivia Champions, all for a good cause. This year’s event raised over $35,000 for children and youth in the care of the Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa.
Hosted by Majic 100’s Stuntman Stu and CTV’s Michael O’Byrne, the night resulted in Sponsor and Champion team, The Sticky Buns, taking home the 2012 World Trivia Night title.
Honourable mention to team La Triviata and team Shocked and Appalled for taking home second and third place.
Special thanks to Top Fundraising Team, Riverside Pub for raising an outstanding amount of over $5,000 for children and youth in our community!
